LDN Advisory is an asset management fund initiative aiming at mobilizing financial resources to create sound market driven-land rehabilitation projects.
Its main mission is to contribute to the Target 15.3 of the Sustainable Development Goals aims to achieve Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) worldwide by 2030.
In Rio+20 (2012) and the Conference of Parties (COP/Ankara 2015 and COP/ Nairobi 2016), Land Degradation Neutrality has became a key issue in the efforts to manage Climate Change impact as well as Biodiversity Conservation. More recently, the results of the UNCCD’s LDN project in 14 countries have remarked the need of having a large financial tool integrated by governments, private sector, academy and NGOs, able to finance key projects in this field.
LDN advisory is part of this effort of allocating funds to low resources groups of land users, targeting transformative projects.

Focus: Looking for development impact

Focus: Problematic to address

Land-owner problematic:
Due to water, wind and mechanical erosion as well as physical, chemical and biological degradation many land users suffer loss of arable and reduction of land productivity.
LDN Advisory seeks to help these farmers providing several services among then financial and technical backstopping.
Regions-land problematic
Many regions and urban areas lack of  land protection, conservation andrestoration strategies. That  make them particularly vulnerable to  environmental disasters and to climatechange consequences.
LDN Advisory puts at the service of these regions a package od strategies, mechanisms and projects to cope with this reality
LDN Advisory is constituted by highly experimented experts in addressing environmental issues.  All LDN Advisory members share the same principle: sustainable solution only are possible with the active participation of local authorities and entrepreneurs in join ventures  with national and international  cooperation institutions as well as financial entities.
